Results Framework Document (RFD) is prepared to assess the performance of the institute/organization. In this document, each institute/organization prioritizes its objectives, related success indicators & targets for the year at the beginning of the year based on the last few years’ achievements besides some mandatory objectives. At institute level, a RFD committee headed by Director as chairman, RFD Nodal Officer and few members fixes the objectives, success indicators and targets after thorough discussion with respective Head/In-charges/Scientists concerned. At the end of the year, annual achievement of the institute approved by RFD committee is sent to Nodal RFD cell of the council headed by ADG (FFC) for assessment. After assessment of the document & evidences, different grades like Fair, Good, Very good or Excellent is awarded to each institute on the basis of their performance. During the year 2013-14, this institute Central Research Institute for Jute and Allied Fibres (CRIJAF) is assessed as EXCELLENT.
