ICAR - Indian Agricultural Research Institute - Education Hub - Kolkata
ICAR-IARI Kolkata Hub is one of the 16 regional Hub of Parent organization ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. Starting from the session 2023-24 onwards as approved by the Academic Council, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi in its 418th meeting. Students for UG, PG and Ph.D. degree programmes are be admitted by The Graduate School, ICAR-IARI through the NTA-CUET examination. Hub partners are ICAR-CIFRI, Barrackpore, ICAR-NINFET Kolkata, ICAR-CSSRI Canning Town Centre, ICAR-NBSSLUP Kolkata Centre, ICAR-CISH Malda Centre, ICAR-CIFE Kolkata Centre, Krishi Vigyan Cendra, Bundwan and North 24 Parganas (Additional). These Hubs will be the regional academic collaboration centres of ICAR-IARI, New Delhi which are located across the country as per directive of the DG ICAR and Secretary DARE. On successful completion of their degree program, the students studying in regional hubs will be conferred degrees by The Graduate School, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. The financial control of these hubs including that of ICAR-IARI is governed by ICAR, whereas the academic management will be governed through the guidelines of The Graduate School, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, as it is the constituent institute of Indian Council.

All India Entrance Examination for Admission, CUET (ICAR-UG) is conducted for admission to Bachelor Degree programmes for admission to the institute. The CUET (ICAR-UG) - 2023 Examination for the Academic Session 2023-24 has been conducted at center’s/cities identified and finalized by NTA, all over the country, enabling participation of a large number of candidates seeking admission in the Bachelor degree programmes offered by the institute. Candidates declared eligible for registration and choice filling for counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation of program/subject. There is no provision of direct nomination for admission through ICAR in any Bachelor degree programme without qualifying in CUET (ICAR-UG). The admission would be granted only when the candidate seeks admission through counselling conducted by the ICAR.
